1. Responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to the following: 2. Maintains a positive working environment to promote culture of passion, teamwork, and respect. 3. Maintain communication within the shop. 4. Creates long term restaurant objectives and action plans. 5. Utilizes retention and rewards tools to motivate the staff. 6. Maintain highest standards of ethics and integrity. 7. Maintain highest standards or personal conduct and appearance abiding to the dress code. 8. Develops sales, cost and profit targets. 9. Motivates and lead team to meet and exceed all sales and profit targets. 10. Responsible for the completion of daily, weekly, and monthly restaurant reports. 11. Inspire and motivate with a high level of commitment and performance. 12. Showing an ability to trust others. 13. Constantly searching for new ways to enhance the staff skills. 14. Praising team members when deserved. 15. Showing permanent good listening skills. 16. Assessing training needs and preparing training objectives. 17. Training continuously for consistent and effective production. 18. Coaching and correcting all the staff. 19. Developing and encouraging teamwork. 20. Providing decisive leadership and leading by example. 21. Building and fostering professional pride. 22. Demonstrating a total respect for all team members. 23. Maintain all check lists. 24. Preparing timely reports to be presented to the Area & Operations Managers. 25. Finding solutions where appropriate and improving the results. 26. Making sure staff is well groomed. 27. Controlling the overall café atmosphere (lights, cleanliness, restrooms ….) 28. Coordinating with the Kitchen for readiness. 29. Welcoming, guiding and seating customers. 30. Conducting regular spot checks on food and beverage to ensure compliance with standards. 31. Supervising service and ensuring full customers’ satisfaction. 32. Being responsible of the cash control and shift accounts. 33. Maintaining restaurant logbook covering all aspects of operation and guest comments. 34. Taking the responsibilities of opening and closing duties. 35. Following-up on staff for all concerns. 36. Becoming the main responsible of the operation. 37. Finding solutions to urgent issues. 38. Abiding by the company Rules and Regulations. |
